Maine RWA is heading into a jam-packed summer with many of us heading off to National Conference in D.C.. But in order to start the summer off energized and ready to write we are starting with a bang! Kristin Hardy is joining us June 20th at the Bowdoin College Meeting facility. Need directions? The Retreat was an incredible success... our thanks to all that participated and to Jessica Andersen, Kelly McClymer and Kat Henry Doran for sharing their fabulous insight with all of us. Also, a huge thank you goes out to all those who donated items for our goody bags. Check out this list of contributors on the MaineRWA Retreat page. We had a great response and it was a wonderful addition. I'll be adding some pics soon from the retreat so be sure to check back with us.

For those of you who joined us this year for the event, we'd like to thank you for your participation. Without you it would not have been such a success. We hope to see you... and others... next year!

PLEASE NOTE: THE APRIL MEETING IS MOVING!!!

We are meeting in April and June at the Bowdoin Campus site.

Directions to Bowdoin College - McLellan Building, 85 Union Street, Brunswick 04011

Go to the Brunswick Exit # 28. From 295 N or S it is a long exit ramp that goes up a hill and curves around to the right - it brings you in on RT ONE North - headed into Brunswick (right past the Fairfield Inn where we had the retreat). Get in the right lane, because at the THIRD stop light (there is a laundry mat on the right hand corner) you go straight on Pleasant Street. Take a right on Union Street (at traffic light). The Episcopal Church will be on the left and the Catholic Church will be on your right, after you turn. Go approximately two blocks, past the parking lot to the library on the left and past the back end of Hannaford on your left. Go over the railroad tracks. The first left takes you into the parking lot behind the big gray and white building. Take the big middle doors at the back of the building off the parking lot. Once inside, turn left down the hall, past a small conference room on your left and a kitchenette on your right. You will head directly into the conference room.

This is a brown bag meeting, so bring something to eat.
